Reclaimr
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Points & Rewards system work?
We believe that contributing to the community's safety should be rewarded. Our system is designed to be simple, transparent, and optional.
- Connecting: You can connect your Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask) to earn points. This is 100% optional. If you prefer full anonymity, you can contribute without connecting.
- Earning Points: You receive points for actions that help the community, such as adding a new report (+50 points), commenting (+10 points), or voting (+5 points),Thumbs up or Down(+1 point).
- Monthly Prize Pool: At the end of each month (a "season"), we distribute the USDC from the prize pool among our top contributors. Currently, we use a lottery model where every point you earn is a ticket, giving everyone a chance to win. The timer above shows how much time is left in the current season.
- Transparency: The prize pool amount is set by the admin and you can verify the funds are available by checking the prize wallet on a block explorer via the button above.
What is Reclaimr?
Reclaimr is a community-driven platform designed to bring transparency to issues faced by users in the world of cryptocurrency. Our mission is to create a public space for reporting, tracking, and discussing claims related to locked or lost funds, scams, and fraudulent projects.
How do I add a claim or report a scam?
On the respective page (Claim Tracker or Scam Database), click the "Add Claim" or "Report" button. A form will open, asking for key details. If you want to earn points for your submission, make sure the "Earn points" checkbox is ticked and connect your wallet when prompted.
Are the claims and reports verified?
Reclaimr relies on the power and wisdom of the community. We cannot individually verify every submission. Verification is crowd-sourced through evidence provided by users, community voting, and open discussion in the comment sections.
What is the "Site Feedback" post?
This is a special, permanently pinned post on the Claim Tracker page. If you have an idea for improving the service, found a bug, or have a technical issue, please click this post and leave a comment. We review all suggestions regularly!
